Senior Specialist (Asset Manager / GP Relations)

Castle Hall is an entrepreneurial, dynamic and fast moving company that is looking to add a Senior Specialist to our team in our Manager/ GP Relations function. This newly created role responds to increasing demand for Castle Hall’s services. The successful candidate will interact with asset managers and General Partners (GPs) worldwide to inform managers of Castle Hall’s requirements when conducting due diligence. The Senior Specialist will then liaise with the asset manager throughout the diligence process to ensure that the manager / GP experiences an efficient and effective engagement with Castle Hall.


  • Work closely with our OpsMonitor team on product knowledge expertise and ongoing communications around process changes and improvements  
  • Liaise with the Client Support Team to confirm specific client orders / engagements 
  • Coordinate with both the OpsMonitor and Client Support teams to ensure client agreed deadlines are met
  • Reach out to investment managers to introduce Castle Hall and respond to investment manager questions about Castle Hall / our due diligence process
  • Co-ordinate non disclosure agreements
  • Co-ordinate delivery of due diligence questionnaires (initial and ongoing) to investment managers 
  • Validate receipt of diligence questionnaires (stage of completion and quality of content) together with receipt of manager / GP documents; follow up with asset managers as necessary
  • Follow up with investment managers as to open questions arising from the diligence data verification or monitoring process
  • Conduct annual “trust but verify” email reach outs, liaising with managers to ensure an efficient reach out process
  • Introduce Castle Hall’s diligence “exchange” concept to asset managers
  • Respond to inbound inquiries about Diligence Exchange for third party managers that are not currently under diligence coverage
  • Liaise with Diligence Exchange managers across all aspects of Diligence Exchange services and content


  • A university degree or equivalent is required
  • 3+ years experience in a supervisory or management role
  • People management experience will be considered a strong asset
  • Familiarity or experience using Hubspot would be considered an asset
  • Organizational skills; the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Problem solving skills; the ability to view issues with a solutions based mindset
  • Administrative experience is required; preferably in a related field
  • Strong work ethic with professional integrity and a positive, proactive attitude
  • High attention to detail
  • A natural leader; someone with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with full MS Office Suite
  • Polished, energetic, and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of financial industry an asset
