Chris is the Founder and CEO of Castle Hall, where he leads a team of more than 80 professionals conducting operational, ESG, risk and cyber due diligence on behalf of more than 100 asset owners worldwide.
Chris is one of the industry’s very first operational due diligence professionals. After audit experience with both Deloitte and PwC, Chris began his due diligence career in 1997 with the Atlantic Philanthropies (a multi billion dollar foundation and early hedge fund investor). Chris then joined UBP (2001) and co-founded Amber Partners (2004).
Chris is an advocate for enhanced best practices across the asset management industry. In addition to his work at Castle Hall, he is a member of the CFA Institute Global Industry Standards Steering Committee, and is a founding member of the Executive Committee of the Fund Governance Association. Chris also served for 6 years (2011-2016) as a member of the CFA Institute Capital Markets Policy Council, acting as Chair for a maximum three-year term.
Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a CFA Charterholder.
Anne Coady leads the Abu Dhabi office. Anne manages a global team of diligence analysts and is responsible for the service delivery of more than 2,000 due diligence reviews across hedge funds; private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds; and a wide range of long only investment structures through DiligenceHubTM, Castle Hall’s award winning, online diligence portal.
Anne has more than two decades of accounting, operational and due diligence experience, including almost a decade at PwC Cayman as Director of Global Compliance / Administrative Services, focusing on offshore corporate administration and structuring. Anne is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association and has extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance and anti-money laundering best practices.
Kathleen joined Castle Hall in 2015 and is a Senior Manager in the Halifax office. She is involved in the review process for the OpsMonitor and OpsVerification products, which cover more than 700 funds across a wide range of strategies and involve communicating with alternative investment managers from around the world. During her time at Castle Hall, Kathleen has also gained three years of experience conducting operational due diligence reviews across a wide range of hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity and other alternative and traditional fund structures. Kathleen is actively involved with training initiatives and oversees the work of a team of analysts across Castle Hall’s Halifax and Manila offices. Prior to joining Castle Hall, Kathleen worked in leadership roles within the culinary industry for over eight years, and obtained her BBA in Management and Finance from Mount Saint Vincent University.
Trevor is the Information Technology Manager at Castle Hall, where he manages helpdesk staff and drives technology initiatives. Trevor’s responsibilities include internal infrastructure, policy, business continuity, and cybersecurity management. As an advocate for best practices in information security, Trevor leads Castle Hall’s Cybersecurity Diligence program and holds the (ISC)2‘s SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) designation.
Prior to joining Castle Hall, Trevor enjoyed a career in the arts and worked in technical roles supporting the Canada Revenue Agency and Avaya. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Music from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Diploma in Computer Systems & Networking from the College of the North Atlantic.
Kara is a Senior Client Support Specialist at Castle Hall. Skilled in building client relations and providing excellent client support. Kara supports client requests and takes part in the planning and scheduling of all Due Diligence requests.
Kara holds a BA in Business and Sociology from Trent University. Prior to joining Castle Hall, Kara worked in various roles in the Client Services industry.
As a Senior Client Support Specialist, Emily manages a group of Castle Hall’s valued clients while supporting our Head of Client Support & Directors in logistical and operational planning of various due diligence services.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University. Prior to Castle Hall, Emily worked in an account manager role for corporate travel & commercial fleet rental while gaining experience in client management & retention, sales, operational management, and people development.
Emily enjoys continuing to build relationships, and learn from, new & existing clients!
Colby is a Senior Manager at Castle Hall. He conducts operational and investment due diligence reviews across a wide range of hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity and other alternative and traditional fund structures. He is also involved with training initiatives and oversees a team of Analysts.
Colby holds a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University, and is currently pursuing the CAIA designation (Level II candidate).
Armand Cuke is a Senior Manager at Castle Hall. Prior to joining Castle Hall in 2014, Armand began his career as a Bond Administrator and Associate Trust Officer with Computershare. Armand received a BCOMM in Finance from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business, as well as an MBA from its Goodman Institute of Investment Management.
Anthony is a Senior Manager at Castle Hall. He is involved in the quality control of the OpsMonitor and OpVerification products. He oversees the work of multiple analysts performing operational due diligence on a variety of asset classes including hedge funds, private equity and other alternative and traditional fund structures. Prior to joining Castle Hall in 2017, Anthony worked as a Senior Operations Analyst at Citco. Anthony obtained his Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting from Saint Mary’s University in 2013.
As the Senior Business Development Specialist, Jessica is responsible for sourcing and building new client relationships. In her role, Jessica helps allocators assess and understand their due diligence needs and review Castle Hall’s efficient and cost-effective solutions.
After graduating from programs at Dalhousie and McGill University, Jessica worked in a sales and relationship management role with a global hospitality organization gaining experience in business development, client management, and client retention.
Daisy is the Marketing & Communications Manager at Castle Hall. Skilled in design and inbound marketing, Daisy has helped design the Castle Hall website, along with brochures and white papers.
After graduating from Lasalle College in Fashion Marketing, Daisy worked as a Project Support Coordinator for Home Depot and later on became a Marketing Consultant for a Dance Studio before joining Castle Hall in 2017.
Vijay heads the operations in Manila and directly reports to the Managing Director. He focuses on the delivery of 4 Castle Hall Due Diligence processes: Audited Financial Statements Review, OpsMonitor, OpsVerification, and OpsReview Data Support. He also oversees, documents and reviews Castle Hall’s workflows, operations and procedures.
Vijay has more than 10 years of experience in the Banking and Finance industry. He had managed teams that supported Australia’s largest Share Registry for 5 years. He graduated from the University of the Philippines and received his Engineering License in 2005. He got his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt Certifications in 2016.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
Agneta is a Senior Manager at Castle Hall Diligence. She has worked primarily in the financial services sector, concentrating on the audit of hedge funds, structured finance vehicles and private equity funds.
Prior to joining Castle Hall, Agneta worked as an audit manager with KPMG in the Cayman Islands. She has considerable experience of investment funds reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and USGAAP. Agneta graduated from University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of commerce degree and started her audit career with Deloitte. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA charterholder.
Mark leads 3 teams in Manila and provides added support in work allocation, performance management of the staff and setting the goals and objectives of each group. He is highly involved in contributing to management decisions to evolve and enrich the culture of a high-performance organization. He works closely with the Manila Team Manager and the Managing Director as an opportunity for succession planning and professional growth.
Prior to joining Castle Hall, Mark was employed at IBM Services, Inc. for almost seven years, primarily involved in team and operations management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Financial Management and a Master of Business Administration degree from De La Salle University – Manila. Mark is a certified Wealth Portfolio Manager for AIA Philamlife handling multiple individual insurance and investment accounts.
Vincent is a Director at Castle Hall. At Castle Hall, Vincent has been conducting operational due diligence since January 2008, with experience across broad asset classes and a wide range of strategies within long only, hedge fund and private equity structures.
Vincent began his career as an analyst with Fiera Capital Corporation, a leading Canadian institutional investment manager. Vincent holds a BA in Business Administration from Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Montreal, and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) charterholder.
Lloyd is a Director at Castle Hall. At Castle Hall, Lloyd conducts operational due diligence reviews across a wide range of hedge fund, fund of funds, private equity and other alternative and traditional fund structures. Prior to joining Castle Hall, Lloyd was a Senior Investment Representative with Scotiabank’s discount brokerage division. Lloyd began his career as an Operations Specialist with Pivotal Payments, one of Canada’s largest independent merchant service providers.
Lloyd holds a BA in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal, has passed CFA Level I and has completed his Canadian Securities, Options licensing and Derivatives Fundamentals Courses through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Jackie is the Director of Platform Development at Castle Hall. Jackie is responsible for tactical and strategic decision-making for all technical and design aspects of the product line developed by Castle Hall. Jackie works with a team of technologists and developers to turn complex business concepts into IT solutions that provide insight into the depth and breadth of information captured through Castle Hall's due diligence approach.
Jackie holds a bachelor of science in Architecture, and after several years working with buildings and furniture decided to shift her design focus to developing technological solutions to real-world problems. Jackie has over a decade of experience in IT business analysis and product management across a range of industries.
Alex heads Castle Hall’s business in Australia and lead’s client relationships and diligence activities in the broader Asia Pacific region. Alex has 16 years’ experience in the investment management industry and prior to that worked in a leading London law firm. Alex established the operational due diligence program at Atlas Capital, a UK / Guernsey based fund of funds, in 2002, before moving to found Orchard Harbour, a specialist in Asia-Pacific hedge funds, in 2007. Alex joined Select Asset Management as COO in 2012, and thereafter assumed a variety of roles within OneVue, a publicly traded financial services firm, upon OneVue’s acquisition of Select in 2014.
Alex is a qualified Solicitor and a Barrister in England & Wales having completed the Bar at the College of Law in London. Alex is also an executive committee member of AIMA’s Australian chapter.
At Castle Hall, Mat manages the business development team with a focus on both Castle Hall's existing sales pipeline and development of new business opportunities.
Prior to joining Castle Hall, Mat held various Operational roles at both Grant Thornton and Fluent Home with a focus on new business and customer retention.
Marice is Head of Client Support at Castle Hall. Skilled in building Client Relations and Logistical Planning, Marice leads a team of experienced Client Support Specialists. The Client Support team ensures all client inquiries are responded to as well as scheduling engagements across the firm.
After attending the University of New Brunswick, Marice worked in the Accounting Field for both Manufacturing and Non-Profit Organizations.
